Pickle Booth

Ok, so in checking my blog I realize there are no pics of the booth. It has been a while since I have posted (as Pam stated. :) )

Here is a shot of the stand at night!

Update

Listening to: Bitter:Sweet

What a crazy fall it has been. The Fair was busier than ever this year. As most of you know we moved out of the food building and into a new home for us with a trailer and a 20'x20' building in the back. The crowd loved us and we again had lines extending out into the street.

It is hard to say what our next venture might be now that we are mobile. There is talk from our end about potentially other State Fairs. A few being discussed include California, Iowa or Wisconsin (they overlap), Massachusetts and potentially Oklahoma. Personally...I would love to do the circuit.

Another topic getting a lot of discussion right now is the Twins Stadium. All I can say at this time is we have sent a letter to the Twins and we are looking forward to discussions with them; most likely after the World Series. :)

My other job has been frantically busy. We are in the process of moving an entire data center with hundreds of servers out of MN to Chicago area. No, this does not have an impact on my job, in fact it might help solidify it because there will need to be more interaction between the customer and the teams in Chicago. We also have another large project taking a LOT of my time. I am averaging 12 meetings a day!!! The last 2 days I have had 14 meetings each day. How does one possibly attend 14 meetings in a day? I don't, because I can't.

Kids are back in school now. (long pause here). Wow. Homework nightly for 2, dance 3 times a week (Alexia), hockey twice a week for Jaiden (so far). It is CRAZY. I work, I shuttle kids to practices and I try and feed them in between, help with homework where we can fit it in. Next thing I realize...I had not done Laundry forever and we are running out of clothes to wear?!! Oh yea, I guess we need to do laundry too. I need a night shift. lol.

I know those of you with kids have been there and done that. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining, I love it. The kids love it. :)

On top of all this...I have asked Jennifer and Ryan to move in! Big news here!! So we have also been painting her place, packing her place, emptying her place, cleaning her place (although she has been doing most of this with her family)...why? Because I have been....did you read above? lol I have also been cleaning out the spare room here, moving Anthony into that room, cleaning out his room, cleaning out the laundry room, moving my office downstairs, cleaning out my bedroom, the list goes on and on.

I am ready to clone me. haha.

Jenn and I recently went to Duluth for my cousin's wedding (Heather & Ryan) Congrats!! It was GREAT seeing all the relatives. It seems few and far between for me to get up north for some of these events. We are planning on going up for the next one in Dec.

Sorry no pics this entry, maybe next one.

Hopefully it will not be as long before I update again. Until then...CYA.
